The 2012 Battle of the Hotbeds is a competitive recruiting team camp. Each team will play 12-14 games in a 4 day period. Check in is between 10:30 a.m.to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 22 and the camp is over on Wednesday, July 25 depending on the times of each team games between 11-12:30 p.m..

Every team plays 2 games on Sunday and Wednesday and 4 games on Monday and Tuesday. There will be a short instructional session on Sunday to start the camp. Top 4 teams will be in the Final Four Wednesday. There are two All Star games (rising juniors and rising seniors) on Tuesday evening which is attended by a large number of college coaches. The All Star teams are selected by a panel of college coaches. Each year the camps has been averaging over 80-100 college coaches in attendance.
