Florida Lacrosse Camps was established in 1998 with the belief that the young student-athletes of Central Florida should have a local camp where they can learn to honor the game of lacrosse with sportsmanship and fair play while developing the fundamental skills required to take their game to the next level. Throughout the years our goals have not changed.
We want to "keep raising the bar", challenge our players to strive to be the best that they can be on and off the field. You can have it all and achieve your goals by being a great person, a great student and a great player.
Who is really teaching your child?
There are plenty of Lacrosse Camps and Clinics for you to choose from when it comes to furthering the skill and knowledge of your child in the game of Lacrosse.
But do you know who will be instructing your child for sure? Will everyone on the “Scheduled to Appear” lists actually appear? Maybe. But then again, maybe not.
At TeamFLC - Florida Lacrosse Camps, the only game we play is Lacrosse!
The truth of the matter is that many lacrosse camps have the backing of an organization and the brand name to go with it, but there is not much teaching at the camp or clinic. Many times it is left to high school kids to teach your child. Some are qualified and some quite frankly, are not. The youngest coaches on our camp staff are former high school players who have been to this camp and played with TeamFLC - kids we know well and who have a clear understanding of our high expecations.
We’ve all heard the stories…After a late night out with the boys (girls) and showing up with flip flops and sun glasses, the camp coaches appear more likely to fall asleep than to take a hands on approach to teaching the kids. Why take that chance?
The Florida Lacrosse Camps staff have an outstanding reputation for being the best in the industry when it comes to TEACHING the game of lacrosse. Along with a very impressive Lacrosse Resume, many members of our staff are teachers and coaches in public or private schools and have children themselves. They understand how to work with your child to help them get the most out of their abilities. This ultimately results in a better program, happier kids and lacrosse instruction given in a safe and professional manner.
Our coaching profiles are listed on our web site for a reason, so you know who is teaching your kids. Here is a partial list and info about our coaches so you can decide on the right camp for your child...
