The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has selected Tom Kienle, TeamFLC Girls Director and Rollins College assistant coach, as the NCAA Division II Assistant Coach of the Year for the 2010 season. Complete Story - Click here

TeamFLC coaches Rick Merritt and John Byrne were on the Gold Medal World Champion team in the Grand Masters Division of the Men's Lacrosse World Games - Congratulations!!!

TeamFLC player, John O'Grady, was selected to the Army Lacrosse Camp 2010 All- Star Team and was awarded the Best Midfielder in the Middle School Division.

Over 350 boys from all over the country - New York, New England , Maryland, Michigan, Texas, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia - attended the camp session held at the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY from July 10 - 13.

*Special Note* - Newsome Lacrosse Club has become an in-school club team at Newsome High School, for boys & girls, located in Lithia, Hillsborough County, Florida. As of Spring 2011 this is no longer a Community Club program managed by TeamFLC. While TeamFLC fully supports the Newsome Lacrosse Club, it is now an independent in-school club program at Newsome High School and will play under the governing body of the USLacrosse - Gulf Coast Chapter.

Florida Lacrosse Camps - established in 1998 with the belief that the young student-athletes of Central Florida should have a local camp where they can learn to honor the game of lacrosse with sportsmanship and fair play while developing the fundamental skills required to take their game to the next level. Throughout the years our goals have not changed. Florida Lacrosse Camps provides training and development of young student-athletes, within a progression based curriculum for beginner, intermediate and advanced players.

TeamFLC-Tampa = FishHawk Lacrosse Club- offers programs for  middle school girls and middle school boys from Lakeland to Apollo Beach and students in the Riverview, Bloomingdale and Valrico areas. FishHawk Lacrosse is the only local program to offer specific instruction for Girls Lacrosse.
